YBN Almighty Jay is an American rapper and member of the YBN collective. He’s best known for the singles “Chopsticks”, “2 Tone Drip”, “Off Instagram” and “Takin Off.” His discography includes Birth of A King (2015), Million Dollar Kid (2016), and The Bape God (2016). He’s collaborated with artists like YBN Nahmir, and Rich The Kid. YBN Almighty Jay was born Jay Bradley on August 6, 1999, in Texas. He grew up with his mother and brother. According to Jay, he was a bad kid back in high school. The up-and-coming rapper did manage to complete his diploma.

CAREER
Jay was drawn to hip-hop music at an early age. Though his mother played primarily gospel, he listened to hip-hop music on his own time. He credits recording artists Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Soulja Boy as early influences. Jay became a member of the collective YBN (Young Boss N!gg@s) in 2015. The other standout member is none other than Alabama rapper YBN Nahmir. The two met in person for the first time in late 2017. Jay started out sharing his music on SoundCloud and YouTube. His first project, Monsters In Tha Cut, was shared online in November 2014. Jay collaborated with his crewmate YBN Nahmir on the hit track “No Hook.” The official visuals received much love on YouTube with 22+ million views. Other fire tracks followed, including “Off Instagram” and “Takin Off.” He linked up with Rich The Kid for the February 2018 single “Beware.” In September 2018, Almighty Jay released ‘YBN: The Mixtape’ alongside Nahmir and Cordae. It featured singles “2 Tone Drip” and “Fresh.” The tape boasted guest verses from Wiz Khalifa, Machine Gun Kelly, Gucci Mane and a few others. Jay was featured on Trippy Ja’s single “Imma Ball”, and on A1’s “Cash App.” He appeared on Lil Xan‘s 2019 single alongside Nahmir and Steven Cannon. His latest single “Let Me Breathe” was released in March 2019.

In addition to music, Jay is an active vlogger on YouTube. His channel “DrillWoodJay” has 265K+ subscribers and 10+ million video views.
