Kim Fields and husband Christopher Morgan welcomed their second son, Quincy Xavier Morgan, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, her rep confirms to PEOPLE Magazine.

Born in Atlanta, Ga. at 10:30 a.m., Quincy weighed in at 8 lbs., 8 oz., measured 20 inches long, and joins big brother Sebastian Alexander, 6½.

“We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family,” the couple, told PEOPLE. Quincy Xavier Morgan‘s mother, Fields, 44, announced the pregnancy in July.

“It was planned. We’ve actually been trying for a couple of years,” she said at the time. “We had gotten pregnant twice and [miscarried]. If I’m encouraging to anybody … it’s not like I’m the poster child for over 40 and pregnant.”

Fields were married to film producer Johnathon Franklin Freeman from 1995 to 2001. Fields gave birth to her first child, Sebastian Alexander Morgan, by then-boyfriend, Broadway actor Christopher Morgan. The couple introduced their son the following week in People magazine. 

On July 23, 2007, they were married in a private ceremony officiated by Pastor Donnie McClurkin. On July 24, 2013, she announced on the talk show, The Real, that she and her husband were expecting another child, a boy. The couple welcomed their second son, Quincy Morgan, in Atlanta, Georgia.
