August 2024 · 1 minute read

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling is hoping to serve another term at the city.

Kling announced her reelection campaign Thursday morning. She was elected as Nampa's Mayor in 2018, unseating former mayor Bob Henry.

"With a humble desire to serve the community I love and a dedication to fiscal stewardship, I would like to continue the work I began nearly four years ago," Mayor Kling said in the announcement.

Mayor Kling won't be able to officially file to run for the office until later this summer, according to the City of Nampa's website. The filing period begins August 23 and ends September 17.

Nampa City Council Seats 1, 3, and 5 will also be up for election this year.
