To catch a Catfish in Stardew Valley, you'll need to wait until it rains during either spring or fall. Next, go to the Rivers and Secret Woods pond; you'll need to be there between 6am and midnight for the Catfish to be there.

Next, you'll just need to fish as normal and hope that you'll get a Catfish on your line! It may take a few tries, but this is the only time and place where you can catch one of these fish for yourself.

Overall, though, Catfish really isn't that hard to catch, so if you head out during the right time you should be able to get one on your hook.
