‘Superman Returns’ star Brandon Routh has received an offer of $500,000 to pose nude for Playgirl magazine which he reportedly turned down. So, we asked a group of women whether male celebrities posing in the nude is a sight Indian women are ready for...

Shalini A, 26: “I think the choice to pose naked is a very personal one. Nobody has the right to pass any moral judgements on the fact that a person is naked on the cover of a magazine.”

Mita A, 21: “I think it’s absolutely okay to pose naked. Why should it be a problem if you are getting paid in millions? Indians can have so many Mallika Sherawats but nobody will pose naked. Such double standards!”

Shubhangini Sharma, 18: “Milind Soman posed naked in one of our ads. I don’t think people have an issue with that anymore. India is quite ready for stuff like this.”

Ishani Shah, 20: “If a celebrity is confident enough of posing naked, there’s nothing wrong with it. Even in India people do it, but it is just never out in the media. It is a part of the glam world. It’s high time Indians accept nudity.”

Who would you like to see naked on a magazine cover?

Ayesha Billimoria, 19: “Brad Pitt is  super-sexy. I would love to see him  unclothed on  a magazine cover.”

Anvita Khandelwal, 18: “Upen Patel. I find him very good looking and he has a great body.”

Devjani Majumdar, 24: “Tom Cruise is perfect and he looks better with age.”

Kiran Matan, 34: “George Clooney  because he  can look quite delicious.”
