ORIGIN
Asher Angel is an American actor, musician, and dancer. He stars as “Jonah Beck” in the Disney Channel comedy-drama series Andi Mack (2017-). His film credits include Jolene (2008), On Pointe (2018), and Shazam! (2019). Asher Dov Angel was born on September 6, 2002, in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The middle name “Dov” means “Bear” in Hebrew. CAREER
Angel started out as a child actor in the drama film Jolene (2008). He was cast as “Brad Jr.” The film was directed by Dan Ireland and stars Jessica Chastain. It premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival in June 2008. Angel appeared in several local shows at the Desert Stages Theatre in Scottsdale.
