Judwaa 2, starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu, has broken the dry spell at the box-office in style. The film got a solid start on Friday itself. The film managed to rake in Rs 16.10 crores on its first day at the box-office. With that collection, Judwaa 2  became the fourth hightest opener of 2017 after Baahubali 2 (Rs 41 crores), Tubelight (Rs. 21.5 crores) and Raees (Rs. 20.42 crores). It's also the biggest opener of Varun Dhawan's career.    What's more, Varun Dhawan's latest film took a bigger opening than superstar Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (Rs. 12 crores) and Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal (Rs. 15.25 crores)   And as expected, Judwaa 2 was unstoppable at the box-offoxe on day two as well. Trade experts had predicted the film will bank Rs. 18.19 crores on Saturday. However, the film exceeded the expectations and crossed the Rs. 20 crore mark. Yes, you read it right. Judwaa 2 scored a big Saturday as it raked in Rs. 20.55 crores.    Sunday was the day when the film recorded the highest collection. The strong buzz around the film and the massive love from audience helped Judwaa 2 make Rs. 22.60 crore on its third day.    To the film's luck, Monday was a national holiday and the audience thronged the cinemas on the first day of the week too. The film raked in a huge sum of Rs. 18 crore yesterday. The four day grand total of the film now stands at Rs. 77.25 crores.    Judwaa 2 is all set to cross the hundred crore mark by Thursday and if the film performs well in its second weekend too, then it has all the chances to overtake Raess and become the highest grosser of the year so far.     Keep watching this space for more updates.
